We’re stoked to finally reveal the big news — Victory Road will be teaming up with Jokmok Events to provide live stream at a Regional Championships again for second time! Join us in Bochum, Germany from all over the world on January 11-12 for all the VGC action in the first Pokemon Sword and Shield Regional Championships in the world!
In this small note you will find all informations concerning the VGC event and stream.
Live Broadcast
All the action can be followed on our Twitch channel during the event. These are the estimated times, so please keep in mind that any changes or delays may occur to match the tournament’s pace:
- Saturday 11: Swiss Rounds beginning at 9 AM CEST, or 3 AM EST
- Sunday 12: Top Cut bracket starting at 9 AM CEST, or 3 AM EST
Shortly afterwards, our YouTube channel will host all the games streamed, so you can (re-)watch whenever you want!

Join us as the third caster!
This time, we’re opening a caster position for anyone in the community willing to join us behind the desk! Do you have what it takes? This is what we’ll be looking for in all potential candidates:
- Great speaking skills (and also a great English) to entertain the public
- Certain extent of expertise with the game
- Great team work skills
- Balance between analysis, turn by turn narrative
If you think you can fit in these conditions, just apply filling the form you will find below. We will take all the applications under consideration! This will be opened until December 10, 23:59 CEST.
In this form, please have in mind we will ask you about the following points:
- A brief introduction of yourself. Who are you? How long are you playing Pokémon? Which one is your favorite metagame/year/ruleset and why? In general, whatever you want to tell us in order to get to know about you and your background in the community
- A demo-video where we are able to know about your casting skills.
- If you have already casted a Pokémon VGC event, you can send us a video of this event
- If it would be your first time behind de desk, don’t worry! just commentate over the first 10 minutes of the 2020 LAIC Masters Division Finals, upload it to youtube (unlisted) and send us below the link to that video.

There are still spots available if you’re looking to play at the event. Check out Jokmok’s site for more information on how to register. Masters entry fee is €40, while Juniors and Seniors is €20.
