Structure
This event marks not only the first-ever National Championships held in Thailand, but also the first-ever offline event held there! Only players residing in Thailand could play this tournament.
With a cap of 100 entries, players would face each other in up to 7 Swiss rounds, in best-of-one matches, on 29 May 2022. The top 8 players would advance to a classic single-elimination bracket, with best-of-three matches.
The winner would receive a Day 2 invite to the 2022 World Championships, as well as a Travel Award, while the rest of the top 4 players would receive Day 1 invites.
