Overview

The Lille Regional Championships is an official TPCi Regional-level event for Pokémon VGC, TCG and Pokémon GO. It is the second Regional-level event of the 2025 season in the European circuit.

The ruleset is VGC Regulation Set H, and it is played using open team lists.

A little bit of history

France has been part of the Europe region of the official TPCi circuit for many years. It has hosted multiple major events, including Special Events, Regional Championships and old-era National Championships. France’s greatest VGC success is Hippolyte Bernard‘s top 16 place at the 2022 World Championships, as well as the France National Championship titles won by Adrien Boulet (2010) and Lionel Fey (2011).

The most recent tournament held in France is the 2024 Lille Regional, played with the VGC Regulation Set E ruleset in October 2023. The finals saw 2018 EUIC Champion Simone Sanvito defeat Frenchman Aurélien Soula to win his second Regional title!
