The first major events for the 2020 Play! Pokémon Season have finally been announced by The Pokémon Company International (TPCi). Your first European Regionals will take place in Sheffield, UK; whilst North America will head to Atlantic City for the first NJ Regionals since 2012.

The Championship Points (CP) and prizes awarded at Regional Championships for 2020 have remained unchanged since the 2019 season, while further details on invites to the 2020 World Championships are yet unknown. The Best Finish Limit (BFL) has been reduced down to 6 events (from 8 in the past season).
